An elegant and tasteful 5-bedroom luxury rental villa. Villa East Indies sits amongst 4,400 sq. meters of verdant tropical gardens and is surrounded by acres of emerald rice terraces. The Owners’ passion for preserving and sharing the rich cultural tapestry of Indonesia, their extensive collection of exquisite antiques, books and Indonesian artefacts, together with their flair for interior design, has created a comfortable, nostalgic Colonial-style country home – redolent of hedonistic tropical yester-years.
Villa East Indies consists of two buildings. The entire upper level of the main building houses a spacious Master Suite or Studio, which offers fantastic panoramic views of surrounding rice paddies. A beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom and a small pantry lead off the Suite, while a writing desk and dining nook may mean you never go downstairs! Downstairs an additional two Master Bedrooms with spacious dressing rooms and en-suite bathrooms lead into the air-conditioned Gym. The Entrance Lobby, Bar, indoor Dining area and breezy Living Room are at the front of the main building and overlook the 23 meter organically-designed pool set amidst the tropical gardens, lawns and lotus ponds. The Guest House has its own entrance, although is separated from the main house by just a few steps. Its deep, shady wooden deck boasts a dining table, cozy lounge with TV and iPod dock, a comfortable sofa and a decadently cushioned Chinese Opium Bed. The Guest House accommodates two exquisitely furnished Double Bedrooms, one with en-suite, the other shares the en suite with the small Queen Bedroom next door.
Villa East Indies can be rented as a two, three, four or five bedroom property, with the small “Queen” room in the Guest House also available as an optional sixth bedroom at additional cost. The Guest House is perfect for families or couples – feeling like a home away from home.
Master Bedroom
Villa East Indies consists out of two buildings. The Master Bedroom is housed in the upper floor of the main building. This suite is decorated in traditional style which provides you with an authentic feeling during your stay in the luxury villa. Connected to the spacious suite is an nice bathroom. The Master bedroom is fully equipped with large dressoirs, desk and lounge to relax on. The master bedroom has an amazing view which looks out over the nearby rice fields. Downstairs are two additional master bedrooms which are equally equipped to the one on the top floor.
Guest suites
In addition to the main building a separate guest building has been build to provide additional calm space for guests to stay. The guest house is right next to the main building. The guest suites have been provided with all necessary’s needed for them to have a wonderful stay. Everything, from closets to store their belongings, en-suite bath rooms and even a separate dining and living room is available. The guest house has also been decorated in traditional Indonesian style.
Indoor living
Whilst relaxing in Villa East Indies living room you are surrounded by Indonesian antiques, traditional works and of art and Balinese wood carvings. Interesting books and magazines on Indonesian art, culture and nature can be found throughout the residence and its simply the perfect place to unwind with tropical birds and butterflies fluttering by. There are several options for dining from a grand antique table to a relaxing outdoor lounge under the stars and the bar is a fantastic meeting point for pre dinner cocktails. The entire upper level of the main house houses a spacious master suite, with an en-suite bathroom, which boasts fantastic panoramic views of the emerald rice fields surrounding the property. The Guest House has a spacious deck with breakfast table and lounge and houses three additional bedroom suites, two of which have en-suites and the third has an interconnecting door to the en-suite. Also for the sport fanatics during there holiday, there is a build in gym in the Villa.
Outdoor living
The gardens and swimming pool of Villa East Indies really are a key highlight of this luxury villa in Bali. Starting from the grand entrance through the ancient Chinese Indonesian doors, the garden entices guests to meander through the residence and observe its fragrant offerings. The most beautiful birds and butterflies grace Villa East Indies with their daily presence and jewel colored dragonflies skim across the lotus pond.
The residences 23m swimming pool is designed to curve around the foot of the main house. Decks at both ends house relaxing tables, chairs and poolside lounges. With that length, there’s no excuse for not getting a little active during your stay too!
